Make Frederick Republican Again

Meet Kate

A steadfast Republican with a strong history of grassroots leadership, Kate brings extensive experience in precinct management, voter outreach, and party organization. Originally from Schenectady, NY, she was drawn to Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign for its bold stance on ending costly foreign wars, lowering taxes, and fostering economic prosperity, as well as its focus on immigration reform, including stopping illegal immigration and sharply limiting H1B visas. Since then, Kate has held key roles within the Republican Party, such as Precinct Captain and District Chairman in Fairfax County, VA, before moving to Frederick, MD.

Make Frederick Republican Again

Determination

Frederick has a long history of embracing Republican values: strong families, fiscally responsible government, quality education, and fair tax policies. Kate is determined to restore these principles by promoting transparent leadership, supporting local businesses, and ensuring our schools’ academic excellence. Together, we can strengthen our community, protect our shared values, and build a prosperous future. Join Kate in making Frederick Republican again!

From Reagan to Today: A Commitment to Conservative Values

Raised in a politically active Democratic family, Kate began voting Republican during Ronald Reagan’s second term and became deeply engaged in 2016 due to concerns about immigration. Sixteen percent of the U.S. population (53.3 million) is foreign-born, including 36 percent of New York City’s population. Kate is committed to meeting these challenges through principled leadership. Her experience in business, community involvement, and raising children informs her dedication to public service.

Active, Engaged, and All In for Frederick County

After moving to Frederick, Kate joined the Republican Women of Frederick County (RWFC), Frederick County Republican Club (FCRC), and the Frederick County Young Republicans (FCYR) as an affiliate member. Kate has actively supported Joe Adkins (City Council; Fourth District), Tom Trott (Mayor), Heather Fletcher (School Board), Jamie Brennan (School Board), and John Myrick (Governor), distributing literature, writing informational flyers, organizing events, and knocking on doors. Kate forged alliances with Republicans state-wide at the Maryland Federation of Republican Women Retreat. In July 2025, she launched Taylor for Maryland and registered as a candidate for the Frederick County Republican Central Committee.

Vision for the Central Committee

Kate will strengthen the party through grassroots organizing, voter education, and volunteer recruitment. The FCRCC website and newsletters lack consistent updates, so she will establish a reliable communication schedule for Republican voters. She will organize the county’s volunteers using the precinct model and spearhead fundraising events to support county Republican candidates. She will recruit candidates to ensure Frederick City has a complete slate for city council in 2028. Her proven leadership in Virginia’s high-stakes elections shows she can mobilize communities and achieve results. She is dedicated to earning the trust of Frederick County Republicans and promoting our shared values in the 2025 and 2026 elections and beyond.
